We have in-house facility for ERS and IEEE 1070 testing in India under make in India initiative. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has recently awarded 16 nos. ERS towers to supply at their Siliguri location for 400kV Transmission Line under make in India.

PGCIL USED TOWER SOLUTIONS ERS AT VIZAG – 800 KV HVDC RIVER CROSSING AT TUNDGABHADRA RIVER

SITUATION

1. Very tall towers with long span (~900m) were required to cross the river span.
2. Suitable anchors needed to be used for the river bed

SOLUTION

• PGCIL was able to successfully carry out this installation. A crane was used to assist with the installation, and helical anchors were used to anchor the guywires into the ground.
